LEL #1-#2

Course 1: Basic Concepts in algebra

1. Interest level

I was really interested by this course, because I like mathematics in general and I have to use mental calculus everyday at school as I'm in architecture.

2. Difficulty level

This course was way too easy for me, it's about secondary 2 level, but I followed it anyway, because I needed practice.

3. What I learned (3 points)

I didn't learned much following this course, as I said, I wanted to take it to practice my ability to count mentaly, not using an adding machine. The only thing I learned is that I am way better than I thought.

4. My score

I actually didn't get any score or evaluation at all following this course, but according to the practices I would have had about 95-100%, my only errors being keyboard errors.

5. Course rating (/10)

I would give a 8/10 to this course because even if it was too easy for me, it still shows a good pace as it becomes harder just fast enough an it begins with the basics of mathematics as the name says it: basic concepts.

Grammar Skills 4: Adjectives, Adverbs, & Confusing Words

1. Interest level

I wanted to follow at least one English course as this work is to be done for the English class so I chose this one. Even if many people dislike grammar, I don’t so this was probably the English course that could have interested me the most and it did. I like to see the errors I say when I speak or write in English.

2. Difficulty level

This course surprisingly easy for me, it's only about secondary 3-4 level, but there was some subjects I didn’t remember perfectly so it was still a good review.

3. What I learned (3 points)

- I learned that the word “alright” actually doesn’t exist
- I learned the definition of “lose” which means to misplace or to be defeated
- I learned the meaning of “altogether” which is “completely”

4. My score

I actually didn't get any score or evaluation at all following this course, but according to the practices I would have had about 85-95%, the only errors I did were sparse and didn’t aim any subject in particular.

5. Course rating (/10)

I would give a 6/10 to this course because there were many errors in the corrected version of the practices, like the wrong word highlighted in the sentence or when I gave the good answer, sometimes it was marked as wrong even though it was the same answer it was showing as the good one.

  1. Two very good reports. I am glad to see that you took the initiative in doing a math course that was of interest to you. Good detailed comments. Continue the good work. There are several run-on sentences that you should check. 18/20
